The English Orpheus is an intimate recital of English songs and solo keyboard music spanning 3 centuries, inclluding music by LAwes, Blow, Purcell, Gurney and Britten.
English tenor Charles Daniels received his training at King's College, Cambridge and the Royal College of Music in London and is now heard reglarly at the BBC Proms, Edinburgh International Festival,the London Handel Festival and Wigmore Hall. He has made over 90 solo recordings including a recent Grammy award winner.
Having made early studies in Germany, highly acclaimed keyboard virtuoso Alexander Weimann now resides in Vancouver where he performs as conductor in addition to harpsichordist, organist and pianist.
