The ENABLERS are a 4-piece dance band that have been around for a few years in different guises, playing their brand of covers in and about the mid- island area. This fine local band consists of Wes Weldon(guitars,vocals etc), Stuart Parenteau(bass,vocals), Colin Perry(sax,keyboard,flute,vocals etc) and Greg Harford(drums).
Combined, the band has over a hundred years music experience. Individually they have all played in numerous bands in the area including; Madhatter, Rubber Soul, Naked Volleyball, Sons of Guns, to name a few. The ENABLERS play all types of music, including Rock, Blues, Reggae, Country, Southern Rock, Blues Rock, Disco and more, putting their own twist on the songs, which enable people to enjoy live music for their dancing and/or listening pleasure. Their influences include everything from AC/DC to ZZ top, and their mantra is to ; enable people to have a good time and to play every gig like it's their last.
