As anybody in jazz might know, Cory Weeds is a first class musician who also owns one of North America's busiest jazz record labels, Cellar Live. In fact I ran my last album, with Reg Schwager and Ryan Oliver through the Cellar Live label. Cory has twenty-two albums to his name and in this show he will be highlighting the music of Fraser McPherson.
Cory Weeds has performed alongside musicians including Christian McBride, Joey DeFrancesco, Peter Bernstein (guitarist), Eric Alexander (jazz saxophonist), Mike LeDonne, and Joe Farnsworth.
This quartet features, Cory Weeds (saxes), Bill Coon (guitar), Louis Rudner (bass) and John Lee (bass).
