This lecture is part of The City Talks, a distinguished lecture series hosted by the University of Victoria's Committee for Urban Studies. The lecture series invites world class urbanists to a public discussion of the prospects and challenges of cities. This fall, our series focuses on the theme: Theatre in the City. In the spring, three lectures will discuss Cities, Governance, and the Politics of Urbanism. Talks last for 45 minutes and are followed by a question and answer period with the lecturer. All talks are held in the Legacy Art Gallery, in downtown Victoria. We look forward to another year of energetic public discussions of city life.
