Tales for the Telling, Storytelling for Adults
presents "A Celebration of World Storytelling Day"
All around the world, March 21 is celebrated as World Storytelling Day. Storytellers are encouraged to tell stories based on a common theme during the week. The theme for 2017 is Transformation.
Since our performance date falls within the time range, we will be celebrating World Storytelling Day by inviting three members of the Storytellers of Canada and a member of The Mid-Island StoryTellersto bring their favourite stories of transformation.
Come to hear Jennifer Ferris, Lee Porteous (both members of the Victoria Storytellers Guild), Susan Warner (Mid-Island StoryTellers), and Marva K. Blackmore (Past President of the Storytellers of Canada) as they offer the best of their stories to you.
Tickets are available at the McMillan Arts Centre, online at www.mcmillanartscentre.com or by phone 250-248-8185. Remaining tickets will be sold at the door.
