Get ready to have some fun when The Capital City Syncopators takes the stage at Recreation Oak Bay's Upstairs Lounge on Thursday, February 6th!

The Capital City Syncopators is a modern take on prohibition-era jazz and country swing. With lapsteel, electric guitar, Dixieland tenor banjo, washboard, and tuba, this eccentric 5-piece plays hot jazz, novelty songs, and hits from the 1980's.

The band's lineup includes some of Victoria's most accomplished professional musicians: Reuben Weir (Mark Atkinson Trio) on guitar, Chris Herbst (The Moonshiners) on lapsteel, Avram Devon McCagherty (The Stomp Club) on tenor banjo, Don Cox on tuba, and Matt Pease (Lee Aaron) on drums and washboard.
Doors open at 6:30 pm, so you can get a good table and an early start on dinner! Show starts at 7:30 pm!
