Jazz pianist Brian Buchanan has been described as 'the jewel in the crown of Canadian Jazz'. He has played with some of the best players in jazz music, such as Chet Backer, Herb Ellis, Clark Terry and Mark Murphy and his albums reviewed in some of the most prestigious international. Jazz publications.
This musical event is sure to be an exciting evening of top level Canadian jazz. Brian is joined in this concert by one of Canada's busiest bass players Ken Lister, and the enormously experienced Geoff Bowen on drums.
Both these players have enjoyed the stage with such jazz luminaries as Kenny Wheeler, Art Pepper, Herb Ellis, Stan Kenton, Ross Taggart, Chet Baker etc.
