In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdmans - some of the most inventively awful kids in history!
This delightful comedy, adapted from the best-selling children's book by Barbara Robinson, has become a holiday favorite for audiences across North America. Director Ashlee Sales has assembled a cast of all ages from throughout the Oceanside area, adding her own dramatic flair to the story she describes as “Norman Rockwell meets The Outsiders”. Sales has included familiar holiday music and promises lots of belly laughs throughout the show.
The outrageous shenanigans of the Herdman siblings, who take over the annual Christmas pageant in a tale involving the Three Wise Men, a ham, scared shepherds, and six rowdy kids, are sure to please everyone. “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is quirky, fun, and timeless.” This year’s pageant is definitely like no other, but perhaps that’s exactly what makes it so special.
