This is a Core course in the Art of HR Certificate program.

Times are changing, but the need to develop strong leaders is the same!

Every manager is responsible for nurturing “the employee experience” at work. But there’s a lot that goes into fostering a positive employee experience and building a culture where employees feel supported, heard, and valued. Empowering every employee to succeed means putting an intentional, strategic focus on the ways we manage people.

The Art of People Management is an interactive, virtual program designed to support managers, supervisors, and team leaders at the early stages of their leadership journey.

Learners will be supported in developing the foundational leadership skills that enable top performance and high engagement and will walk away with tools, skills, and strategies focused on a variety of supervisory themes, including:

Effective Workplace Communication

Respect in the Workplace

Resolving Workplace Conflict

Appreciation in the Workplace

Managing Day to Day People Challenges

Throughout the training, participants are encouraged to commit to applying their learning through practical actions that will expand on their theoretical knowledge.
