The Dunsmuir Lectures seek to enlarge our understanding of the history of Craigdarroch Castle, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Not only does it attempt to enlarge our understanding of the social communities and context of the age of The Golden Age of the Entrepreneur, it aims to bring a greater understanding to the remarkable past of a remarkable family in a unique time and space, one commemorated by the successful protection and preservation of Victorias fine edifice that stands atop the heights of Joan Crescent, Rockland, Victoria, a visual landmark for the City and the Province, and a testament to a vibrant age now past but still preserved in its fabric and collections.
Your membership in the Craigdarroch Castle Historical Museum Society is welcome, and we request your support for the continuance of our great historical and architectural treasure.
