Terrazetto is an acoustic trio from Nanaimo, BC, performing both instrumentals and songs . Their music hails from across the continents, with Latin, Americana, African, European and the British roots, sung in French, English and Portuguese. All three musicians are songwriters and recording artists, and TerraZetto blends original composition with hand picked traditional tunes from around the world.
This band is inventive in reworking the best works of favorite artists including Fats Waller, Sonny and Cher, Stevie Nicks, and Eddy Vedder. TerraZetto offers full instrumentation with Carrie Ingrisano on acoustic guitar & electric bass, Kenny Brault on stick bass, mandolin, and Irish bouzouki , and Dave "Voodoo" McGrath customizing hand percussion and drums.
Their style and delivery range from the most intimate to high-energy performance. Members of the trio have lived and performed in Chicago, Central and South America, and across Canada.
They are happy to bring together their eclectic musical experience and joy of performing to the good people of Vancouver Island.
