Maintaining their sense of identity while taking a giant leap towards a new sound, Tegan and Sara�s latest album, Heartthrob, has received wide spread critical acclaim since its release last year, propelling them to new heights both internationally and at home. The album debuted at number three on the Billboard Top 200 chart, marking the sisters� highest US chart position to date. The first single, �Closer�, reached number 1 on MuchMusic�s Top 30 Countdown and was the twins� first single to be certified Platinum in Canada. In July 2013, their second single, �I Was a Fool�, was certified Gold in Canada.

2014 will be another busy year for Tegan and Sara. After performing with Pussy Riot, Imagine Dragons, The Flaming Lips, Lauryn Hill and more at Amnesty International�s Bringing Human Rights Home concert on February 5th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Tegan and Sara will join Paramore for their first ever Parahoy Cruise in the Bahamas, followed by extensive headline and festival dates on both sides of the border. In September, Tegan and Sara will join Katy Perry on the third leg of her Prismatic North American Tour.
