The SPANISH HARLEM ORCHESTRA (SHO) is a two-time Grammy winning 13-piece salsa and Latin jazz band setting the standard for New York style, authentic hard core salsa—live or recorded, it doesn’t get any better. Lead by pianist OSCAR HERNANDEZ, the band’s stage presence, rich sound and musical precision leaves audiences mesmerized until the last note. With four Grammy nominations over a 15 year career, this Latin Jazz powerhouse recently released their self-titled fifth album, which features two of America’s great jazz icons, Chick Corea and Joe Lovano. With 13 world-class artists coming together to create an unparalleled musical experience, SHO are sure to make their mark on this year’s TD JazzFest.
