A veteran performer with Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox, vocalist Morgan James is a phenomenal talent with a genuine feel for soul music and songwriting.
Reckless Abandon, her recent recording of all-original material, proved to be a hit with critics and the public. The charismatic James shows a mature sense of balance on stage that makes an evening with her a memorable delight. Praised for having “the intuitive musicality of Stevie Wonder”, New Orleans’ Jamison Ross was destined to make his mark on jazz from behind a drum kit. Ross’s debut album, Jamison, showcased his percussive and singing skills in gospel and R&B-inflected jazz compositions that earned a 2015 Grammy nod. His January 2018 Concord release All for One continues to showcase his highly resonant and soulful vocals. Ross is a fresh, dazzling talent.
