Manchester, UK-based piano trio GoGo Penguin is pianist Chris Illingworth, bassist Nick Blacka, and drummer Rob Turner. The band's music features break-beats, minimalist piano melodies, powerful basslines, drums inspired by electronica and anthemic riffs. Their latest album on Blue Note, A Humdrum Star, was released in February 2018. Britain’s Gwyneth Herbert is a sophisticated jazz-ballad artist and has released six albums. “She has a voice that can effortlessly render any emotion with commanding ease.”
