A vocalist fluent in four languages, Grammy Award winning Ang�lique Kidjo is one of the world�s most recognizable and respected musical forces. Kidjo�s music draws from the rich sounds and rhythms of the West African nation of Benin, where she was born. She has shared her unique combination of Afro-funk, reggae, samba, salsa, gospel, Congolese rumba, and Caribbean zouk at music festivals across the world. Her best-selling CDs include collaborations with the likes of Branford Marsalis, Cassandra Wilson, Bono, Herbie Hancock, and Carlos Santana. Her most recent album, Eve, was inspired by the Kenyan women she met as a UNICEF ambassador, and the album features 10 different African choirs to showcase their voices.
