For anyone with a taste for the fiery Argentine tango, or just an interest in learning more about it, a very special opportunity is here. World class professional tango dancers and teachers, Luciano Brigante and Alejandra Orozco will be teaching classes. Luciano and Alejandra are world class performers-teachers and tour extensively in Europe and North American but like teaching smaller communities because they are so hungry for tango. Luciano, who started dancing the tango at the age of 17 in his native Buenos Aires, Argentina, has won a world tango championship in 2004 with partner Alejandra Orozco. Luciano believes part of the appeal of the tango is that it speaks to the heart and soul. Partners are preferred but not required, dance shoes required, no runners please. Teachings are based on body dynamics and technique very little figures are taught hence people from all levels will benefit from the workshop.
