Tangle Island Retreat welcomes both new and experienced Tanglers.

On Friday evening beginners will be brought up to speed in an Introductory class, while those who have taken this class previously work through a different project. Then all classes will be together the rest of the weekend. Fabulous food, a venue right on the famous Parksville Boardwalk, a chance to mingle and meet other keen tanglers from across North America, new supplies, gifts and prizes and a Shop full of Zentangle-related goodies.

Our event is beach themed and we are celebrating all the unique aspects of beach life on Vancouver Island. Our art projects are based on shells, sand, ocean-smoothed rocks, ocean plants and animals, and we are even super-sizing our designs in the sand at low tide (SandTangles).
