How cool is this? California-based silhouette artist Karl Johnson will be in Victoria and is coming to Tall Tales Books!

Karl is a 3rd generation silhouette artist. Each silhouette is cut out entirely freehand. Karl simply looks at the subject's profile (whether in person or from a photograph) and starts cutting their exact likeness out of black paper. Every silhouette is an original, one of a kind work of art, signed by the artist.

Karl's work has appeared in over 30 national publications including "The O List" in O Magazine, People, In Style, Martha Stewart Wedding, Parents, Elegant Bride, Nickelodeon, People, Country Home, Country Living and many others. He has created silhouettes for thousands of special people including celebrities and their children. Such as Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Jennifer Garner, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Lopez, Drew Barrymore & Hilary Duff.

Each silhouette costs $26, duplicates are $16, and optional framing will be $19.
