Double Life is a celebration of the life and times of Canadian poet/performer E. Pauline Johnson.
Pauline Johnson (1861-1913) was of dual heritage: Mohawk and English. From 1892-1909, Pauline performed her own stories, poems and plays across Canada, the United States and England. Defying all the social conventions of the day, this single, Native woman mesmerized audiences everywhere. Paulines own story shines as brightly as her work.
Through stories and poetry, Storyteller Margaret Murphy brings Paulines story to life. Double Life is a celebration of a Canadian heroine for audiences of all ages.
