Takes A Dollar is annual fundraiser founded on the idea that if every person in Nanaimo gave just one dollar, almost $100 000 could be raised for local charities. These funds could have a tremendous impact in the local community. We aim to spread awareness about the issues in the city that often may be getting overlooked. Join us in fundraising for five charities in Nanaimo.
The Nanaimo Community Kitchens, Vancouver Island Mental Health Society, Haven House, Vancouver Island Crisis Society and the Nanaimo Unique Kids Organization.
