Dance lessons at 5:30pm - 6:00pm

Open dance with live music from Mahogany Swing band at 6:30 - 9:00pm

Bio: Josh Colman is an avid Lindy Hop & Jazz dancer, dancing anywhere and everywhere since 2013. After moving to the Nanaimo in 2018, a little time later, Harbour City Swing was created to continue the mission of dancing anywhere and everywhere. Harbour City Swing celebrates Lindy Hop, Swing dancing and other Vernacular Jazz dances in mid-Vancouver Island. They celebrate these Black American dances by learning and sharing not only their movements, but also their history and social context
