Despite her grounding in roots music, Jadea is known widely for her vocal work with Canadian metal band Protest the Hero - who have featured her on Kezia 2005 and Scurillous 2011. Over the past three years, Jadea has completed two Cross-Canada Tours, two tours of Eastern Canada, a tour of Germany and the Netherlands, was featured on CBC Radio 2's Canada Live with her 2010 performance from the Stewart Park Folk Festival and completed an eight-month residency at the infamous Cameron House in Toronto.
