Wednesday, October 18th, 2017
5:30 PM to 8:00 PM

Join in the discussion on how we can prevent sexualized violence and discrimination in our community!

Surviving in the Intersections features keynote speaker Darnell Moore, a renowned social Justice educator whose work addresses how violence impacts different intersections of identity based on race, gender identity, and sexual orientation.

This event will also feature a panel presentation on sexualized violence in the sex industry from Peers Victoria, and an information fair beginning at 5:30pm in the lobby with campus and community groups that work to address sexualized violence.

For more information, visit facebook.com/getconsent and antiviolenceproject.org/svaw. In an effort to decrease barriers to this event, tickets are sold on a sliding scale. You can pay in $5 increments from $0 - $10. If you are a student or do not make a living wage, we encourage you to choose the complimentary ticket option.
