Surrealist Drawing Parlour – Nanaimo Artwalk Workshop Series

Join in this ambitious, large-scale creative drawing project mentored by artist and educator Yvonne Vander Kooi. Each participant will contribute to a series of collaborative drawings which follow the principles of the popular 1920s Surrealist drawing game Exquisite Corpse. Take your pick from a variety of materials including, graphite, watercolour, ink, and collage and be surprised and delighted as outcomes emerge. Attend one or both workshops and tap into the unconscious, dreams, and the fantastical. Finished works will be part of an exhibition in Art Lab for Nanaimo Artwalk. All skill levels welcome.
