Tofino Paddle Surf's Catherine Bruhwiler continues to work with Paddle Canada Instructors Norm Hann and Mike Darbyshire to offer 'Tofino Coastal Surf Weekends' on Tofino's spectacular beaches.  

These 3 day courses are offered biannually in the spring and fall. The weekends are a perfect introduction to SUP surfing in coastal areas. Enjoy the magic of Tofino and the west coast on our paddle surf weekend. The course is designed to introduce paddlers to the ocean environment and stand up paddle surfing. Over the weekend clients will take part in on-water and dry land based teaching sessions that will focus on safety, etiquette, paddling technique and catching your first ride. We take you from  catching your first wave on a SUP to understanding the subtleties of surf etiquette, swell forecasting and critical thinking in a dynamic ocean environment. The courses also include beachside accommodations to help you relax and experience the stunning west coast and beauty of Tofino.  Enjoy your oceanfront stay.
