The Roy Styffe Quartet performs at Hermann's Jazz Club on August 2.

Roy Styffe (saxophonist, clarinetist, flutist) currently lives and works in Victoria, British Columbia, continuing a performing career that has thrived for more than 25 years. He studied at the prestigious Humber College in Toronto, acquiring a Bachelor of Music degree there. While he resided in Toronto, he was the choice of several respected leaders for recording sessions and live performances, including Pat LaBarbera, Ed Bickert, Kenny Wheeler, Don Thompson, Bernie Senensky, and Ron Collier. He also released two of his own recordings as leader.
