If you thought pruning was just a winter activity, you have to try summer pruning! Besides being able to prune in short sleeves, your trees can get many benefits from a summer shearing including less sucker growth and reduced possibility of disease. Join Scott Wiskerki from Roots and Shoots Landscaping in this workshop that will have something for beginners and those who have some pruning experience. Our expert pruner will show you how to tackle common situations with hands-on learning. Bring your pruners a book for taking notes. Feel free to bring your questions about bringing back old, overgrown trees and training new young ones. While the emphasis is on fruit trees, Scott has experience with all sorts of bushes, vines and trees.
