Oak Bay Parks, Recreation, and Culture has been hosting series of free concert at Willows Beach park this summer. Join us for the grand finale of our concert season on Thursday, August 24, featuring the Victoria Soul Gospel Choir. Bring a blanket and picnic, and enjoy the free music in a beautiful setting!
The dynamic and high-energy Victoria Soul Gospel Choir delivers the sounds of Motown, R&B, Gospel, and Reggae in five-part harmony with choreography that will make you want to get up and dance!
The Victoria Soul Gospel Choir are a no-audition choir of all ages, ethnicities, and beliefs who simply love the joy of experiencing this music together. The enthusiastic director, Checo Tohomaso, has performed with Marvin Gaye, Lionel Richie, and the Commodores, and he brings that authentic Motown sound to the music. Get ready for a positive vibe that lifts the spirits!
