Wind on the Waves is an exciting new acoustic duo featuring Lisa Szeker-Madden on Baroque recorders and Lillian Slanina on Celtic lever harp and voice. Their "Summer Breezes" concert gives Victorian audiences a chance to hear these beautiful and ancient instruments performed in the relaxed, informal setting of a coffee shop by professional, university trained musicians. The evening's programme spans the centuries with traditional Celtic works as well as works by van Eyck, Bach, Weatherly, Purcell, O'Carolan, Holst, Schubert, Webber, and the performers themselves. Thrill to daring feats of improvised ornamentation, fresh, original arrangements, and fun historical facts!
