Summer Art Workshop: Printmaking, Painting and Puppetry

Join Lori Sorensen at The Old School House Arts Center (TOSH) August 15th to 19th and discover the world of printmaking, painting and puppetry! For children ages 6 to 12 Children will get the opportunity to see their work come to life in this exciting summer workshop. Printmaking designs will be constructed using drawings, stencils and stamps. Fabric and paper will be printed to create the puppet clothing.

The children will be taught how to create the puppets using a variety of art tools. Characters from fairy tales will be discussed and stories and characters will be developed as a team. The final puppet show(s) will be performed in a theatre set-up on the final day for an audience!

Children can attend either MORNINGS from 9:30 to 12:00pm, AFTERNOONS from 1:00 to 3:30pm or FULL DAYS from 9:30 to 3:30pm. Children who attend the full days are expected to bring a lunch.
