Summer Art Workshop: Oriental Art & Art Adventures

Come join Shino Yoneda and Leigh Buchanan at The Old School House Arts Center (TOSH) August 22nd to 26th for a fun-filled introduction to a variety oriental art and a other art adventures! For ages 6 to 12
Morning sessions will be taught by Shino beginning with origami. Next, children will learn about other types of oriental art including: Chinese calligraphy, monotone drawings with Chinese brush and ink, Chigiri-e, and Torn Paper Art etc.
In the afternoons, Leigh will guide an exploration of various other "art adventures" including flying creatures, self-portraits, and collage, to name a few!
Children can attend either MORNINGS (oriental art) from 9:30 to 12:00pm, AFTERNOONS (art adventures) from 1:00 to 3:30pm, or FULL DAYS from 9:30 to 3:30pm. Children who choose to stay all day will be expected to bring a lunch.
FIVE 2.5hour HALF DAYS: $65.00 FIVE 6hour FULL DAYS: $130.00
