Deborah Williams, award winning actor (most recently seen here as Sonia in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike), one of the creators of Mom’s the Word, and co-founder of The Flame in Vancouver and Victoria, is hosting a storytelling workshop at the Belfry from June 5 – 7. In this weekend intensive, Deb will share her 30 years of storytelling expertise to give you the tools to create and share a truly compelling story. This inclusive and supportive workshop is focused on learning and growth.

New to storytelling, but passionate about it? This workshop is for you! Bring a short, interesting personal anecdote, and Deb will work with you to get it performance ready. It has to be true, about you, and told in less than 5 minutes.

The evening of the 5th will start with a 2 hour meet and greet – a chance for people to get comfortable with the group and hear an outline of what the Saturday and Sunday sessions hold.
