When to Hold and When to Fold:
How to Write and Tell a Story
Storycrafting Workshop for Storytellers
Led by Mary Gavan
When crafting your story, whether you are telling a story you have written yourself or whether you are crafting a traditional folk tale for telling, it becomes important to truly understand which parts of the story to tell and which parts of the story to hold close to your heart and communicate without using specific words.
Through stories and exercises, learn what matters in crafting and telling a story as well as evaluating in a Celtic way.
In this two-hour workshop learn the basic tools to achieve the connection with the listener that every storyteller requires. Learn to maximize the effect of your story.
The fee for this highly regarded and sought after workshop is only $15.00.
To register, go to the website of the Mid-Island Storytellers at www.midislandstorytellers.com and send an e-mail via our "Contact Us" page. We will be in touch with you to confirm your registration.
You may pay at the door or guarantee your seat by paying advance by cash, cheque, or Visa, Mastercard or American Express.
Mary Gavan is an award-winning Celtic storyteller, whose CD, The Celtic Otherworld, won a World Storytelling Award.
