Victoria artist Steven Armstrong presents his eighth solo exhibition at West End Gallery. By approaching this exhibition with the intention of painting images that are more than simply interpretations of locations Steven highlights the broader human experience within the context of our natural environment. Intrigued by what makes a particular place or painting resonate through the years he explores landscapes that are easily recalled and often fondly remembered. Painting images emblematic of an enduring personal history, yet remaining visually accessible to a wider audience.
