The Cowichan Consort Orchestra starts Sept 11th with Monday night rehearsals in Mill Bay at Sylvan United Church right beside Fr. Kelsey High School. If you play a string instrument come join us. Playing at a cons.level of 8 or higher brings most enjoyment. Students can hone their skills as well, in our group. Wind chairs available at the moment are 2 & 3rd trombone, horn, and 2nd oboe. We welcome Pippa Williams as our new conductor due to Nathan Jacklin's move to Switzerland during this past summer. All the best to Nathan and his family. Membership fees apply but do come check us out Sept 11 or 18. First concert is Oct 21 in Duncan at the Chr. Ref. Church 930 Trunk Road. Rehearsals are in Mill Bay.
