Victoria funk-soul juggernaut Groove Kitchen will perform 8 p.m. on Saturday March 17 (St. Patrick's Day) to mark the opening of the new Rubber Boot Club.
The club is located at 1605 St., underneath Swans.
Groove Kitchen specializes in funk, soul and latin -- both reinvented versions of contemporary and classic songs (everything from Bruno Mars to James Brown) as well as originals.
