Sproat Lake Year End Dragon Boat Regatta

On Sunday, September 20th, 2015 from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, the West Coast Dragon Boat Society will again play host to the Sproat Lake Year End Dragon Boat Regatta. We will be hosting as many as 18 teams in the Regatta from all over the island. The event is being held at the Sproat Lake Provincial Park Boat Launch and races begin at 9:30. This event is a great spectator sport.
Grab the kids and lawn chairs and come on out for the day. There will be water stations on-site (but you will need to bring a refillable water bottle). Coffee and food will be available for purchase on race day and there are well-maintained washrooms on-site. The West Coast Dragon Boat Society is a non-profit organization that could not make such an event happen without the help of endless volunteers.
