Spring Fling and Easter Things

There is a lot of fun in store at the museum's annual Spring Fling and Easter Things event. The ever-popular in door petting zoo (courtesy of Shamrock Gumboots 4H Club gives folks a chance to meet lambs, kids (baby goats), ducks, geese, bunnies and chicks. We've invited some special guests including Cathy from Magical Faces who will paint faces for a small fee and the Hot Chocolates Easter Rabbit who will be here between 12:30 and 1pm to hand out delicious chocolate samples. Al Mortin will be giving a talk on "How to attract mason bees to your garden" between 12:15 and 12:30pm.
We've planned an Easter craft, dinosaur egg hunt, enter to win door prizes or try you luck at one of the guessing games. The Elasmosaur mascot will be making an appearance for photo opportunities. For adults there will be a "Hanging Peep Eating Contest" at 1pm
