Spring Break Make Club - creative sewing for kids aged 9-13

Are you looking for something to occupy your crafty kids during the spring break? We have 2 weeks of sewing & textile camps planned! The camps are aimed at kids from ages 9-13 with or without previous sewing experience.
The group size will be a maximum of 12 kids so there is plenty of one to one help.
Activities:

Monday - Needle felt animals & monsters - kids learn to art of needle felt and explore endless possibilities

Tuesday - Fabric printing, stamping, embroidery and embellishment on paper and fabrics

Wednesday - Tote Bags - introduction to the sewing machine [making a custom designed tote bag from the fabrics we designed on Tuesday!]

Thursday - Designing and making a sewing kit or zip up vanity case, iPad cases and pencil cases

Friday - Upcycling Fashion - customizing tee-shirts and other garments [kids can bring old clothes from home and we will have a selection of garments to work on here too!]

March 16-20th, 2015 [9am-12pm]

COST: $160.00 per week

All materials and equipment are provided for each and every project. We encourage you to send snacks and refreshments with your kids as it's much easier to be creative when you have fuel for the brain! We provide water and herbal teas. Please inform us if your child has any food allergies - just in case!
