1980s new wave/pop sensations, the SPOONS, play their first show in Nanaimo after nearly years! Best known for their 1981 hits �Nova Heart� and their 1984 hit �Romantic Traffic�, the band have just released their first album since 1988 (Static In Transmission) which features the excellent single and video �You Light Up�.

Well known for their amazing live performances, and with tickets priced at only $22 + s/c (advance), this is a must see concert for anybody that grew up in the 80′s � and for anybody that has since discovered their music since.

SPOONS are a Canadian New Wave synthpop band, formed in 1979 in Burlington. They recorded several Canadian chart hits between 1982 and 1989, and in 1983, they won Group of the Year at the U-Know awards. Their most popular songs include �Romantic Traffic�, �Nova Heart�, �Old Emotions� and �Tell No Lies�.
