Join the NS3 in our second annual Spooktacular Science Challenge. The race runs through Bowen park and has several spooktacular science challenges along the way! Wear your spookiest costume!
Details:
Pre-registration is recommended and available online: www.nanaimoscience.org There will be on-site registration on the morning of the race from 10:00-10:45am however, only participants who pre-register are guaranteed a paint balloon!
Some Spooktacular Science Challenges:
-Fear Factor! Do you dare reach into the mystery box? Can you guess what is inside?
-The Crazy Chemistry Cauldron! Help the mad scientists stir up something spooky!
-Spooky Slime! Experiment with slime and create your own goop!
-Paint-balloon Launcher! Can you launch a paint balloon onto a canvas?
After the race, at 12:45pm there will be an explosively-fun demonstration with VIU's Extreme Scientists.
Food: There will be a light concession on site.
