This one-day experience will thrill those new to the craft of spoken word as well as those who have already dipped into this art form. Participants will gain confidence in writing and performance skills through image-prompts, discussion, observation, in-class writing and readings. Play with your ideas, tell your own story, express your dreams and visions and watch as it all turns to poetry!
All levels of performance experience will benefit from the trusting and dynamic atmosphere of this workshop, allowing you to share your words with honesty, energy and integrity. Explore possibilities around styles of presentation using voice variation, nuance, rhythm, tempo and sound.
