"Special Woodstock" is celebrating 15 years!!! It has been held in Duncan every year at Providence Farm in the heart of Vancouver Island. We are a non-profit registered music festival that features many local bands and people with special needs who are exceptionally talented despite their disabilities. Musicians generously donate their time and talent to perform for a very special audience.

Together with caregivers, families and friends, everyone experiences a magical day of music, face painting, dancing with cartoon characters, and sharing the three stages with giving musicians. For some families this is the only all day event they are able to attend, and they look forward to it every year!

And the fun doesn�t stop there! People who attend are not only the families and caregivers, but also many friends who live in this caring island community who enjoy listening to some great music and sharing in the joy of the day. Fourteen hundred people attended last year. Although there is no cost to attend, donations are gratefully accepted!
