Speaker Series hosted by Victoria Genealogical Society. Join us for a presentation from local author Rosemary Neering. Fascinated by the lives of ordinary people Rosemary is the author of more than 40 non fiction books, most of which focus on Canadian hisotry. Her writing has won a number of awards, inclulding a BC Book Prize for non fiction. Her presentation will cover the research required and the challenges behind the writing, as well as the people stories in her latest book, The Spanish On The Northwest Coast - For Glory, God and Gain. Doors open at 7 and presentation begins at 7:30pm.
