Have an extra bright holiday season with us – and our special guest musicians from afar – at the 12th annual Classical Christmas Concert.
Eighty talented Concert and Recital Choir singers will perform yuletide songs from around the world. Hear popular festive pieces, and traditional Scandinavian music, that celebrates the warmth and joy that people share during long nordic winters.
FEATURING the exclusive Canadian premiere of “In the Star, Sparkling in Darkness” – a stunning composition that highlights the time of Advent and the Winter Solstice. Performed by the composer and guest musicians from Denmark – The Irene Becker Trio!
Join the Victoria Children's Choir for an evening of new, nordic, and well-known music!
Classical Christmas Concert tickets are available at victoriachildrenschoir.ca, and at the door. All ages welcome. Proceeds support the delivery of advanced youth education in choral singing and music.
