What started out as a casual idea to replicate the type of choir presented in the 2003
documentary “Young at Heart”, quickly turned into a force to be reckoned with in the
creation of SoundWave Choir. Recently retired from touring, professional musician
and song writer Holly Wright, invited people 55 years of age and older to be part of a
“not so typical choir” and in September 2015 SoundWave Choir was born with 28
members. Word caught on quickly about the group that was doing “the hits” from the
50’s, 60’s & 70’s and in just 3 seasons grew to 70 members and a waiting list...

Taking the approach of a performance artist, Holly leads the choir in a very casual style
directed at delivering the songs with the enthusiasm and sound of the original recording
artist. The result being a powerful performance of songs that the audience can identify
with and fall in love with over again. The choir is backed with a 5 piece band adding to
the overall energy. This show is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and song in your heart.
