Director Brian Tate and the Island Soul Choir promise you one groovin' ride aboard the Soul Train. Brian has selected a repertoire that takes you from popular music with new arrangements to American, Nigerian and Haitian spiritual and soul music.

The Island Soul Choir has more than 100 singers from Victoria to Campbell River; from Port Alberni to Gabriola Island and even from the Lower Mainland. Their infectious enthusiasm will bring you to your feet, singing along with the inspiring and uplifting music.

SPECIAL GUEST - Our special guest is singer-songwriter, Cyndi Doell. Cyndi has been a valued member of our choir over the years. She is one of the founders of Every Body Sings! singing circles, and is an energetic vocal workshop leader. This past year, Cyndi changed gears with her career to become a solo act, accompanying herself on piano and singing original and vintage folk, pop and country songs. We are truly pleased to be able to support her in this new endeavour by having her as our guest.

DONATIONS FOR HAITI - Donations for the Canadian Red Cross Haiti Earthquake fund will be gratefully accepted at the door (cash or cheque only). You can also make a contribution online through the Canadian Red Cross website.
