Featuring hits from the Jackson 5, the Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Kiki Dee Band, Tina Turner, Amy Winehouse, the Commitments, Aretha Franklin, Sam Cooke and more! Come on out with your friends and have some fun helping Living Edge help others in our community. Admission by Donation to Living Edge’s mission is “Food for the body, hope for the heart”.
The charity provides food programs to help the poor and disadvantaged in Victoria, focusing on the Hillside/Quadra area. One program is the Sunday Dinners, at which a hot nutritious meal is served tableside to between 100 and 200 guests, 52 weeks/year in the gymnasium at CDI college, 950 Kings Road. Also, Living Edge distributes food in a marketplace style to needy residents of this area from the Quadra Village Community Centre every Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
Also offered are Christian pastoral services and seminars/worship services to those who wish to participate.
