Come discover how love, hard work and a constant vigil for marauding deer have helped create fabulous gardens in the Sooke area.
This year’s gardens range from small to large, manicured to wild, some designed and maintained by their owners, others with professional help. Some are small gems in newer Sooke developments, others are expansive acreages carved out over many years.
The 10th Annual Sooke Secret Garden Tour gives regional gardeners and the curious a rare opportunity to walk through these spaces, to discover new ideas for plantings, hardscape and irrigation systems and to meet the dedicated gardener-owners, willing to share their vision and the fruits of their labour.
There will be live music and crafts from local artisans as well as master gardeners on hand to answer questions.
The Secret Garden Tour is an annual fundraiser for the Sooke Philharmonic Society Society and helps make possible the Sooke Philharmonic’s concerts throughout the year.
